This is a nationally recognised qualification that includes HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
This course teaches participants how to respond confidently and effectively to a wide range of first aid situations in both community and workplace settings. You will learn how to recognise and manage casualties suffering from injury or illness, apply the DRSABCD action plan, and provide lifesaving CPR in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
Training is scenario-based and contextualised to reflect realistic environments such as aquatic and recreation facilities. By the end of the course, you will be able to deliver appropriate first aid responses to a range of emergencies until medical assistance arrives
Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the face-to-face session.

Delivery is via a blended model, combining self-paced online modules with a trainer-led practical session.
The online component focuses on theoretical knowledge and must be completed before attending the practical assessment. The in-person session is interactive and includes demonstrations, role plays, and real-world scenarios
