The course is designed to build participants’ knowledge and capability to respond appropriately in emergency situations and provide lifesaving CPR when it’s needed most.

Please note that participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the face-to-face session.

This course covers the following key skills and areas of knowledge:

  • Recognising an emergency situation
  • Protecting yourself and others
  • Applying the DRSABCD action plan
  • Reporting and evaluating the incident

Please allow up to 3 hours to complete the online modules.

The face to face assessment session will take 1 hour.

This course is delivered via a blended model, combining a self-paced online learning component with a focused face-to-face practical session.
